The Sacred Heart Board of Catholic Education was established in 1988. The board consists of nine members who are appointed. These members represent St. Patrick's parish in Pana, Sacred Heart Oconee parish, and non-parishioners. Board membership must be 18 years and older. Members must not be salaried persons (full or part time) of the parish community’s educational programs, nor parents, offspring or spouses of salaried members.

Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the rectory basement.
