I was a high school PE teacher and retired after more than 30 years and did a lot of coaching in volleyball, basketball and track. I came back to teach PE at Sacred Heart in 2013, wanting to provide a program to the students to help them transition into the High School by knowing some of the things that would be expected of them. Also the younger grade levels I wanted to provide them with knowledge of what to do and how to stay healthy with exercise and activity. I felt Working together and helping each other was a goal for them to achieve and this was something they could use in life.
